Clement of Alexandria Theological Academy is dedicated to instructing and equipping men and women for work in the Kingdom of God. The school is designed to give a solid foundation in biblical studies and equip the student for work in his or her local ministry. There are many voices that have gone out into the world by way of social media that are claiming to deliver Truth about the Bible and or Christianity. While there are serious seekers of Truth there are deceivers that spread false information or distort the truth. COATA is committed to preparing people with the necessary tools to lead others to Jesus and the Truth of the Word of God.

Clement was recognized as the head of a formal catechetical school that taught Christian Truths. The first Christian college of sorts. This school was located in Alexandria, Egypt in the second century A.D. Clement would eventually teach the famed Origen. COATA desires to carry on this tradition of training men and women to spread the Gospel and impact the world for God by helping people to think biblically. In keeping with the historical model of an academy, it is the aim of the president and faculty not only to impart knowledge but to train students to think theologically. COATA is non-sectarian in its approach to biblical and theological education.

At present COATA is offering an independently Accredited Bachelors of Arts in Biblical Studies, Master of Theological Studies, Master of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. We provide virtual learning for those seeking instruction, but cannot attend classes. (Also, because of the present Covid-19 precautions)

The degrees that are offered are solely for ministry purposes. While the course work is academically rigorous it is designed to prepare those who are actively working in Christian ministry. The accreditation that COATA has obtained is through an independent Christian accrediting body and is not recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, therefore governmental financial aid is not available for tuition. Each prospective student must determine what their ministry intentions are prior to enrolling in any institution. Also, credits may or may not be transferrable to other Regionally accredited schools. By not seeking Regional accreditation this has helped to keep tuition affordable without sacrificing quality. If your desire is to become highly equipped to work in a local church and/or para-church ministry then our programs might be excellent for you.

COATA has extremely knowledgable and talented instructors that will assist the students in their academic and spiritual journey.
